i'm matt. i play drums, smell, and supply the general pubic (err... public) with bad jokes and obvious observations.
back to the motor league with me
you know, we could be playing a show right now. we could. we could be up on a stage (probably at cove bowl) kicking ass. you heard me... ASS! but no. we're not. well, we could always open up for psyben trip and play for a bunch of fucking rap-metal dudes (and dudettes, sorry ladies) who would hate our shit. they would hate it so much that just after we closed with goodbye to you by screeching weasel they'd come and kick our asses. oh well, we're probably gonna open up for them anyway (hey, you gotta start somewhere).
i think our band should have its own tv show. something along the lines of the love boat. we'll cast don king as ben, jason alexander as brett, and gomer pyle as me (he's the obvious choice). the show would be us as doctors in the korean war, and i'd get to wear this hawaiian shirt and run around going "i'm a doctor..... ha." then we'll nickname ben radar and brett clinger (and he would dress in drag). wow. i should write television screenplays. damn i'm good at it.
screw this band. i'm gonna start a band called maui wowie and play "gentlemen's clubs" all across america. we'll be a mix of reggae, boy band pop, r&b, hip-hop, black metal, rockabilly and bluegrass..... and we'll kick your ass.
god, now i don't even know what i'm talking about. i'm just gonna stop now.
take two placebos and you can call me lame,
-matt
